University Counseling Center (UCC) at the University of Utah enthusiastically
welcomes applications for a clinical mental health counselor who will provide
embedded services for the College of Engineering. This is a fully benefited,
full-time 1.0 FTE 12-month position, with a 50/50 split for time spent in the
UCC and the College of Engineering embedded site. Responsibilities include the
provision of individual, group, and couple counseling services, intake assessments, crisis intervention services, and provision of outreach
programs and psycho-educational workshops . Possession of strong clinical skills, the
ability to manage a full client caseload, and the ability to work independently
are required, as well as a demonstrated commitment to working effectively from a multicultural
orientation and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary
successful candidate will
have a solid understanding of the unique challenges faced by undergraduate and
graduate students seeking Engineering degrees, with experience providing clinical
services to engineering students preferred.

psychology, social work, clinical mental health, and psychiatric nursing
