Provides clinical services to UWO students are three campuses which includes individual and group counseling, adjunctive therapies, outreach, training, crisis services, consultation and supervision of interns. The counselor will also be responsible for coordinating one or more areas of specialization and be actively engaged in the campus community on committees, work groups and participation as well as, others duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Masters in a mental health related field, such as counseling, psychology, or social work.
  • Ability to be licensed within the state of Wisconsin within the first year of employment.
  • Commitment and understanding of Inclusive Excellence in a therapeutic setting.
  • Extensive skills in assessing, developing treatment plans, and provision of treatment for a wide range of clinical presentations.
  • An understanding and skills of application of positive psychology philosophies and practices. Extensive knowledge and skills in managing risk.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
  • Knowledge of the uniqueness of the college student as a client.
  • An understanding of the developmental process of college students.
  • Experience in coordination of areas of specialization.

 
COMPENSATION

 $55,000 base salary ($46,750 adjusted for .85 FTE) and a comprehensive benefit package
