This position is responsible for the administration and maintenance of the APA accredited doctoral internship training program in professional psychology, which includes recruitment, selection, and orientation of interns, planning and scheduling of training experiences, coordination of service by outside consultants and supervisors, managing all communication and documentation with interns’ doctoral training programs, clinical supervision of the interns, completing all documentation necessary for the maintenance of APA accreditation, and attending ACCTA conferences. This applicant leads in the administration of externship services and seminar, leads the externship seminar, supervision of doctoral interns and externs in the administration of screening, and psychotherapy, and provides personal, vocational and academic counseling/psychotherapy to counseling center clients. Finally the person consults to Pace community members in areas related to psychological, emotional, and environmental issues that affect student development.

-Doctoral degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology.

-Licensure (or license eligible) as a Psychologist in New York State.

-Strong administrative/clinical experience in a university counseling center or similar mental health setting.

-Experience in the supervision of mental health professionals.

-Strong background in supervision issues.
