This is a one-year position starting September 1, 2021. We are recruiting to fill two Postdoctoral Psychology Resident positions.
The Postdoctoral Psychology Resident, under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, provides culturally-competent mental health services to PSU students including: brief individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, brief consultation/triage and emergency services. If the Resident has experience conducting psychological assessments for LD/ADHD, this could be an additional service provided. He/she/they also participate in psychoeducational outreach and consultation with faculty and staff. The Postdoctoral Psychology Resident works collaboratively on an interdisciplinary team of professionals committed to meeting the diverse mental health needs of a global student community. He/she/they is an active participant in staff and clinical team meetings, professional development and clinical in-service activities.

The Portland State University Center for Student Health and Counseling (SHAC) is a nationally accredited healthcare facility that offers medical, counseling, dental, health promotion and education, and academic testing services to the students of PSU. The center consists of over 100 clinical and administrative staff, and there are currently 20,000 students eligible to use SHAC services. The starting annual salary rate for this position will be $46,092 with an excellent benefits package including 95% premium paid healthcare; a generous vacation package; and reduced tuition rates for employee, spouse or dependant at any of the Oregon University System schools.
