BEH HEALTH COUNSELOR 3 LEVEL
Under the direction of the Counseling Services (CS) Director of Multicultural Services, this position coordinates and develops partnerships with 2 student service units to provide regular consultation and effective case management of student situations. This Community Counselor position works with Services for International Students and Scholars and the Middle Eastern North African and South Asian Student Resources and provides the following services to these units; Conduct assessments, respond to student needs, and make referrals to campus resources. Conduct outreach to students, faculty and staff about distressed and distressing students and other mental health issues. Provide consultation to students, faculty, and staff. Provide intake evaluation, treatment planning, crisis intervention, case management, and individual and group counseling and psychotherapy, with referrals to others as needed. Works as part of a multidisciplinary team. This position works closely with the CS Director of Multicultural Services, staff of partner units, and other Community Advising Network (CAN) Community Counselors.
CNSLNG PSYCHOLOGIST 3 HX LEVEL
Under the direction of the Counseling Services (CS) Director of Multicultural Services, this position coordinates and develops partnerships with 2 student service units to provide regular consultation and effective case management of student situations. This Community Counselor position works with Services for International Students and Scholars and the Middle Eastern North African and South Asian Student Resources and provides the following services to these units; Conduct assessments, respond to student needs, and make referrals to campus resources. Conduct outreach to students, faculty and staff about distressed and distressing students and other mental health issues. Provide consultation to students, faculty, and staff. Provide intake evaluation, treatment planning, crisis intervention, case management, and individual and group counseling and psychotherapy, with referrals to others as needed. Provide supervision and training to Counseling Services trainees in an APA accredited internship and APPIC-member postdoctoral program. Works as part of a multidisciplinary team. This position works closely with the CS Director of Multicultural Services, staff of partner units, and other Community Advising Network (CAN) Community Counselors.
