Under the direction of the Counseling Services (CS) Clinical Director at Student Health & Counseling Services (SHCS), this position performs professional patient/client care (individual, group, crisis intervention, and case management) assigned by quarterly clinic schedule. Leads and participates in multi-disciplinary Eating Disorder Management Team and provides guidance to healthcare providers when needed on collaborative care approaches. Provides consultation to healthcare providers about psychological factors affecting students with eating disorders. Provides campus programming on topics related to Eating Disorders / Body Image. Assumes primary responsibility of overseeing the Body Project on campus. Provides campus programs on education, multicultural concerns and prevention, provides supervision and training to Counseling Services trainees in an APA accredited internship and APPIC-member postdoctoral program. Works as part of a multidisciplinary team. Complies with professional requirements of SHCS and UC Davis policies and procedures as well as all State and Federal professional legal requirements.
