The Care Coordinator position is a full-time, 12-month appointment in the Counseling Center. The Care Coordinator supports the Counseling Service division with the coordination of care for clients, specifically as it relates to the referral process and the identfication and initiation of needed services both on campus and in the community.

The Care Coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining collaborative relationships with community mental health services and other resources and campus partners that offer services to students. The Care Coordinator would also work with the University Health Center’s Mental Health Service in facilitating enhanced case coordination.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical or Counseling Psychology. Degree must be from an accredited academic program. Must be licensed or licensed eligible at a clinical level (LCSW-C or LCPC) in the State of Maryland.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working in a mental health setting with diverse populations. Experience interfacing with mental health agencies, social service, and other community resources. Psychotherapy and counseling is not a function of this position.
