The Kortschak Center for Learning and Creativity (KCLC) at the University of Southern California is a highly specialized program with a mission to apply and engage in research and training to serve individuals with diverse learning needs while empowering students to reach their full academic and creative potential. KCLC offers outreach, programming, and individual coaching services to USC undergraduates and departments to promote a campus-wide understanding of learning differences and their potential to facilitate creativity and academic excellence.

Under the general direction of the Director, the KCLC is seeking a Clinical Staff Psychologist with experience in the following:

1)psychoeducational assessments

2) supervision and training in accordance with APPIC guidelines

3) supporting college students with learning differences, 

The Clinical Staff Psychologist will be responsible for:

·       Serving as staff psychologist and Training Director for the KCLC APPIC Postdoctoral Fellowship

·       Supervision of Postdoctoral Fellow for professional Licensure in psychology

·       Provide training in: psychoeducational assessment/diagnosis, direct clinical services, professional development seminar series, crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy; specialty in advanced training with disability population

·       Provide training in the administration, scoring, and interpretation of: WAIS-IV, Woodcock-Johnson-IV, WIAT-4, WMS-IV; D-KEFS; NDRT; TOVA; IVA-2;

Personality Assessment; Self-Report Inventories

·       Serve as primary supervisor for the Marriage and Family Therapy Trainees

·       Provide individual and group psychological counseling services for USC Students

·       Supervise interns and trainees as assigned

·       Develop and conduct group therapy sessions and group workshops.

·       Oversee trainee and staff Assessment Seminar

·       Facilitate trainee group supervision

·       Oversee management of APPIC membership

·       Develop and conduct group therapy sessions and group workshops.

·       Provide consultation services for faculty, staff and other clinicians regarding student related programs and services. 

·       Participating in KCLC research initiatives

·       Familiar with APPIC guidelines

·       Experience training and supervising Post-docs, interns and trainees

·       Demonstrated expertise in psychoeducational assessment/diagnosis



·       Ph.D., Psy D., or equivalent.
