Staff Psychologist (Multicultural Emphasis)

Title: Staff Psychologist (Multicultural Emphasis), Queens Campus

Department: Center for Counseling and Consultation (CCC)

Summary: St. John's University is seeking a full-time psychologist for (within) the university Counseling Center at the Queens campus. The Center is seeking an individual with strong multicultural expertise in working with students of color; international students; and/or LGBTQ+. General duties also include telemental health, single-session therapy; brief individual, couple and group psychotherapy; advocacy; after-hours on-call coverage; assessment and evaluation; treatment planning; crisis intervention and management; psychological consultation to families, faculty and staff; educational/preventative outreach to students, faculty and staff; involvement with clinical supervision & with the training program; and perform other duties as assigned. Some evening and weekend hours will be required.
