The Staff Psychologist/Counselor is a full time (12 month) member of the Counseling and Consultation Services (CCS) team of psychologists, counselors, and trainees and provides a full range of generalist counseling services. Working closely with the Director of Counseling and Consultation Services the staff psychologist/counselor promotes Marian University’s Catholic Franciscan mission and identity by delivering integrated mental healthcare to Marian University’s diverse undergraduate, graduate and professional students  to support students in reaching their personal and academic goals. 

CCS is a dynamic unit within the Division of Student Success and Engagement at Marian University and is highly utilized by students as well as other campus partners seeking consultations. The CCS staff are a cohesive and collegial group of professionals who are passionate about working with students, and seek to provide a safe, welcoming and affirming environment to all.  The Marian University CCS staff strive for inclusive excellence in all professional roles and activities.   • Actively engage the Catholic Franciscan mission and identity of Marian University by modeling the Franciscan Sponsorship Values, honoring the legacy of the founding congregation, promoting unity in diversity, and integrating the Catholic Franciscan intellectual traditions in courses, programs, and services.
