Crisis Counselor

This position will have primary counseling duties and will be the lead on crisis management services. This individual will provide individual/group counseling, crisis management services, outreach, consultation, training, adjunctive services and other duties as assigned. Evidence of multicultural competence and commitment to inclusive excellence is vital.

Counselor - Student Success Coordinator

This position's primary duties are of a counselor which includes provision of individual and group counseling, crisis management, outreach, training, consultation, supervision of trainees. This position also oversee the Student Success programming which includes student success coaching, test anxiety, career exploration and development.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Crisis Counselor

  • Master's degree in mental health field
  • Ability to be fully licensed within the first year of employment
  • Evidence of multicultural competency
  • Previous experience in crisis management of clients
  • Previous experience of utilizing positive psychology practices in counseling
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion


Counselor - Student Success Coordinator

  • Master's degree in mental health field
  • Ability to be fully licensed in the state of WI within the second year of employment
  • Evidence of multicultural competency
  • Experience utilizing positive psychology practices in clinical work
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Crisis Counselor

  • Licensed Clinical Psychologist
  • Experience working in a University Counseling Center
  • Outreach and training experience

Counselor - Student Success Coordinator

  • Licensed Clinical Psychologist
  • Experience working in a University Counseling Center
  • A minimum of two years of post graduate experience of provision of counseling to clients
 
COMPENSATION

Crisis Counselor: 1.0 FTE - $55,000

Counselor - Student Success Coordinator: 89 FTE - $55,000 base, $48,950 actual
