Elizabethtown College is accepting applications for an ongoing, ten month, Staff Counselor-BIPOC Focus position in Counseling Services.  This is a new position joining a Counseling Services team that is an integral and well-respected part of Student Life:  https://www.etown.edu/offices/counseling/index.aspx

Primary Duties:  Short term individual therapy, initial assessments, group therapy, crisis intervention, clinical consultation, and outreach programs, with a special emphasis on serving the needs of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) students and other diverse and historically marginalized student populations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:
An earned Doctorate or Master’s degree from an accredited program in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Clinical Social Work, Counseling, or a relevant mental health field.  Licensed, or license eligible, by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to practice clinical services within his/her area of competency.  Be fully licensed within twelve months of starting employment.  Demonstrated experience serving the needs of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) individuals and other diverse and historically marginalized populations.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred:
Experience working in a college counseling center.

 
COMPENSATION

Salary is commensurate with experience.
