The University of Connecticut Student Health and Wellness Department is seeking candidates for two positions; an Athletics Multicultural Mental Health Clinician and one opening for an Assistant Director of Training/Director, Multicultural Training Program. The Athletics Counseling Team within Student Health and Wellness (SHaW) Mental Health at The University of Connecticut (Storrs Campus) is searching for a full-time licensed clinician with specific expertise and professional background in delivering culturally affirming and responsive clinical mental health services with a particular focus on working with College Student-Athletes identified as Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC). The ideal candidate for the Assistant Director of Training/Director will develop a Multicultural Training Program for mental health interns and practicum students, as well as training opportunities for staff, cultivating cross-cultural knowledge and skills with the goal of providing the highest standard of training in the culturally competent practice of professional psychology and social work.
