POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Assistant Director of Clinical Operations is a member of the
University Counseling Center’s administrative team, providing management
of the Center’s customer service/scheduling operations, coordination of
Pew campus and satellite locations, and oversite of telehealth and
clinical technology. This position provides supervision and performance
evaluation of professional support staff and clinical staff. The
Assistant Director works in conjunction with the Associate Director of
Clinical & Crisis Services to ensure service efficiency and assists
the administrative team in creating a culture of organizational health.
Responsibilities – Essential Functions:
- Provide leadership and oversight for IACS accredited counseling center’s day-to-day front desk and scheduling operations
- Point person for daily consultations with front desk staff to ensure customer service
- Provide performance evaluation, mentorship, and leadership to
professional support staff and clinical staff members coordinating
clinical service areas
- Provide leadership for Pew campus and embedded services: Train and
liaison to support staff, implement office and crisis procedures, and
maintain collaborative relationships with Pew/other campuses
staff/faculty
- Provide culturally sensitive individual, group, and crisis intervention over a broad range of mental health concerns
- Supervision to trainees and unlicensed staff
- Provide consultation and outreach activities to the University community
- Participate in Student Affairs activities pertinent to student well-being, including serving on university committees
- Other duties as assigned by the Director or Clinical Director

is an IACS accredited comprehensive psychological services center and
provides an APA-accredited doctoral internship in psychology and an MSW
