Assumes responsibility for providing short-term psychosocial evaluation, counseling and treatment as well as training opportunities for individuals, groups and couples. In all actions, maintains professional standards of confidentiality and ethics in accordance with established guidelines and appropriate professional associations. Performs all duties in full support of the University’s mission, understanding that the positive and effective execution of these duties are instrumental to the education of the University’s students.
Maintains strict confidential clinical records to provide a basis for referral, provision of information, consultation and/or summary reports as necessary and requested.
Provides crisis management as well as after-hours consultation through an emergency on-call system.
Provides outreach programs, mental health consultation and training services to the University community in an effort to promote mental health awareness and wellness. Represents CAPS on various internal and external committees as necessary and appropriate.
Establishes, cultivates and maintains effective working relationships with external treatment providers and other related community service providers to ensure continuity of care for counseling center clients.
Provides training, supervision and guidance to graduate student trainees.
Works with department staff and trainees in a multidisciplinary team environment in order to provide collaborative care to counseling center clients.

Fully licensed clinical psychologist preferred; minimum requirement is doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology. Experience providing supervision to interns/trainees.
$58,024, minimum to $62,500, maximum
