Counseling Services is committed to the development of the whole person: intellectually, emotionally, socially, spiritually, and physically. The Staff Clinician is responsible for providing a high level of direct clinical service to students and consultation with the community. The Staff Clinician will be able to effectively work with students from diverse identity backgrounds and life experiences, maintaining a commitment to equity and inclusion that supports outreach to and help-seeking by students from historically underrepresented backgrounds.

Education and/or Experience
Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or social work is required. Massachusetts independent licensure as a mental health provider, or license eligible, is required. Licensed Psychologist or LICSW preferred, but LMHC considered with relatable experience. Verification of license or of license-eligibility required. A minimum of three years of counseling experience with a young adult aged population is required. Prior experience in a college or university setting is preferred. Demonstrated commitment to working with diverse populations and the capacity to develop and maintain effective working relationships within a diverse academic community. Established recognition of the effects that discrimination, prejudice, and systemic oppression have on marginalized individuals, and how these negative biases may lead to psychological trauma and stress. Demonstrated commitment to embracing and advancing diversity and inclusion in all aspects of campus life.
