POSITION DESCRIPTION

Function as a professionally responsible member of an interdisciplinary team, providing psychologically informed diagnostic services, treatment, consultation and education to meet the emotional, educational and developmental needs of students at UNL.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree (MA, MS, MSW) plus 2 years of experience in a multi-disciplinary psychological setting required. Eligibility for licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner in the State of Nebraska necessary.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Prefer licensure as a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner. Experience providing counseling and psychotherapy to traditionally underserved and diverse populations desirable. Experience working in a comprehensive counseling center at a college or university helpful. Prefer exposure to stepped care and short-term models of counseling.

 
COMPENSATION

Salary commensurate with one’s licensure and experience.
