POSITION DESCRIPTION
The department of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is seeking a Psychologist to join our team! In this role you will support the UNL student population’s mental health care. The Psychologist assists students in reaching their educational, developmental, and emotional goals by providing supervision to our doctoral interns and provisionally licensed psychologists, diagnostic services, treatment, consultation, and education. Consistent with CAPS’s commitment to diversity and inclusive excellence, in this position you will connect and support underserved student group (e.g., students of color, LGBTQ, international students, students with disabilities).
As a Psychologist you will:
- Provide valuable mental health treatment and care to the UNL student population
- Prepare and correspond with and on behalf of clients
- Interact and collaborate with other professionals within the University Health Center and across campus
- Collaborate and consult with professional colleagues
- Perform routine case management
