Join our team at Texas A&M University Health Services and make a meaningful impact through mental health counseling and crisis intervention for individuals, couples, and groups. This role is responsible for providing mental health counseling and outreach that is responsive to the unique backgrounds and needs of individuals, couples, and groups. You’ll engage the community with outreach presentations and participate in weekly licensure supervision to ensure top-notch care. Your role includes timely documentation, administering psychological tests, and making referrals. You’ll also supervise and consult with students, faculty, and staff, flexing your schedule during peak times to meet high demand. Stay at the forefront of your field with ongoing professional development and contribute to research that advances mental health services.

Psychologist I
Doctorate in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or other degree acceptable to the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP)
One year full-time supervised internship in college or university counseling center or other relevant setting, pre-doctoral internship preferably APA accredited
Psychologist II
Doctorate in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or other degree acceptable to the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP)
One year full-time post-doctoral clinical experience in college or university counseling center or other relevant setting
Minimum Annual Rate for Psychologist I: $72,000
Minimum Annual Rate for Psychologist II: $79,200
