Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at Indiana University, Bloomington campus, invites applications for a full time, ten or twelve month position with Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or Social Work from accredited program; licensed or license-eligible  in Indiana.  Two years work experience, preferably in a college or university counseling center, is desirable.

Strong clinical skills in the delivery of multi-culturally informed individual, couples, and group counseling services; experience with short term treatment models. Group counseling and outreach skills are especially valued.  CAPS is committed to the expansion of services to under-served students.

The CAPS staff is a cohesive, multiple-disciplinary team that includes social workers, psychologists, mental health counselors, psychiatrists, and trainees in the mental health disciplines.  CAPS services are valued as integral to the mission of the university. Recent initiatives include embedded staff in campus Culture Centers and academic schools.  Four newly funded, 10 or 12 month positions currently available.
