Marist College Office of Counseling Services seeks an experienced, collaborative-spirited professional to join a vibrant, growing multi-disciplinary clinical team providing therapy and prevention/ education programming to students in a fast-paced and busy counseling center. This part-time position requires well-developed clinical skills; familiarity working with a wide range of presenting issues and treatment approaches; flexibility to adapt to and meet changing direct service and outreach needs; commitment to multicultural competency; excellent oral and written skills. Strong preference is given to candidates with proven experience in providing group therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and/or Dialectical Behavior Therapy and counseling to young adults ages 17-26.


Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology, from an APA-accredited doctoral program and internship. Licensed or license-eligible in New York State (within year of assuming position).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in individual and group counseling, preferably in a college counseling center or with a college-age or graduate school population.
