The Staff Clinician promotes the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students by providing individual and group psychotherapy, clinical case management, system management, referral assistance, crisis intervention, consultation, outreach, and participation in rotation of after-hours emergency coverage. The Clinician also assists with the Center's training program, and participates in activities throughout the university.

The position is hybrid with partial remote work.

Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field required. Licensed or license-eligible as a Social Worker, Professional Counselor, or other relevant licensure in the District of Columbia at the time of hire.

* Strong preference given to candidates 2+ years post-licensure with case management experience in a college/university counseling center.

* Understanding of human development and the promotion of healthy growth.

* Strong professional interest and experience working with a diverse student population including students of color, international students, students with disabilities, and first generation college students.

* Experience in providing referrals and case management with severe or potentially life-threatening psychological conditions.
