The Counseling and Psychological Services Post MSW 

Duties of the position include providing Individual Therapy using a Brief Therapy model, Triage Services (walk-in, crisis intervention), and Referral Coordination Services (helping students connect with additional resources and off-campus providers).  Opportunities to provide group therapy and outreach are likely. 

This is a one-year position with a possibility of a second year.    

Fellows will receive clinical supervision in accordance with the requirements of the NC Social Work Certification and Licensure Board, as well as additional group supervision and the opportunity to attend didactic seminars. For more information about our training program, please see our website:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Fellows will have graduated from an accredited Master’s Social Work program and be professionally licensed (or eligible to be professionally licensed) to practice social work in the State of North Carolina. Fellows are expected to have their LCSW-A prior to the start date.

Fellows are expected to have demonstrated an interest in working with marginalized populations, and in participating in a training program.


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Clinical/therapy experience is preferred.

 

 
COMPENSATION

$30,000 plus benefits
