This psychologist position involves providing counseling to a diverse student population with a broad range of clinical issues. Duties include clinical service delivery, supervision and training, and consultation and outreach.

ABOUT WASHINGTON STATE UNIVERSITY

Counseling and Psychological Services seek to promote the intellectual, emotional and social growth and development of WSU students. We offer individual, couple and group counseling, psychological testing, drug & alcohol services, self-help and 24/7 crisis counseling. Our service and programs help students develop lifelong skills for addressing personal, social, academic and career-related concerns.

 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A doctoral degree in Psychology, or equivalent including completion of pre-doctoral internship.

Eligibility for licensure as a Psychologist in Washington State within one year.

Counseling/clinical experience with a university population.

Experience working with "high risk" difficulties (e.g., suicide, eating disorders, substance abuse, PTSD)

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

APA-approved doctoral program and APA-accredited doctoral internship.

Licensed as a psychologist for at least 2 years.

Experience and interest in providing service to diverse student populations (e.g. students of color, GLBT students, international students, veterans).

Experience in providing clinical supervision and training to graduate students.

 
COMPENSATION

Commensurate with qualification and experience.
