General Scope of Duties
We are seeking two full-time clinicians who will also have administrative responsibilities. The position requires psychological diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of student patients. Provides consultative, crisis, on-call and outreach services to the campus community. Work closely with the Director in ensuring the provision of high-quality clinical services to the students. Provide clinical supervision and training for the psychology training program. Will have a general expert knowledge of mental health and psychological functioning, along with a specific knowledge of college mental health. Will have experience with and proficiency in providing counseling that is affirmative, sex-positive, culturally sensitive, consistent with risk reduction principle. Will have experience in counseling that promotes self-determination and addresses issues of sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and the intersection of these aspects of identities with other categories such as race, class, and religion, as well as physical functioning.
