This full-time, fully benefited position includes eight consecutive weeks off in the summer in addition to accrued leave and personal days. The Professional Mental Health Counselor will join the team of the Counseling and Wellness Center (CWC) that provide confidential clinical counseling and consultation services to 1300 culturally diverse undergraduate and graduate students at Saint Martin’s University (SMU). The Professional Mental Health Counselor is responsible for assessment, treatment, care coordination and collaborative support services for students. They may also participate in supervision of graduate student interns, consultations with faculty and staff, and presentations to the campus community regarding college student mental health.

REQUIREMENTS AND/OR CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Required: Master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, clinical social work, or related field.
Required: Licensure in Washington state as mental health professional (LMHC, LMFT or LICSW) or Licensed Psychologist (LCP); Maintain license through continuing education hours as required for licensure and provide documentation upon renewal; Chapter 18.225 RCW and Chapter 246-809 WAC.
OR ability to obtain relevant license within six months of start date.
Salary Range $54,000 - $59,500
