The College is seeking a qualified and student-focused professional to serve as the Director of Counseling & Student Wellness Initiatives. This position provides leadership and oversight for Counseling Services and supports the development of wellness initiatives that promote student wellbeing and success.

The Director is responsible for establishing and maintaining the College’s philosophy on student mental health in alignment with institutional strategic plans. This role ensures the continuity of quality mental health service delivery and works collaboratively with Enrollment & Student Success leadership to support integrated care and wellness initiatives across campus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related discipline.
  • Three (3) years experience in counseling or student personnel services at the college level.
  • Substantial experience with supervision and budgeting.
  • Work experience focused on campus or community health promotion/education/prevention.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and proven leadership and ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse college community; record of exemplary professional integrity.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills to include public speaking skills.









DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Earned Doctorate (PhD., PsyD.) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related.
  • Experience with flexible or stepped care delivery models.
 
COMPENSATION

Commensurate with credentials submitted as applied to the College’s Administrative, Professional and Technical Staff Salary System.
