The primary role of this position is to provide individual, couples and group psychotherapy, consultation, crisis evaluation and services, supervision of interns, and outreach related to Counseling and Psychological Services. May be required to supervise pre-master's interns; performs Baker Act assessments, consults with staff/interns regarding assessments; coordinates an area of service.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization. Must be a licensed mental health professional in the state of Florida or if licensed in another state must obtain Florida licensure within 6 months of hire.  Must have 6 or more years of post-licensure experience. 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrated record of successful performance in and commitment to the practice of psychotherapy with both individuals and groups; ability and interest in providing clinical supervision and training; excellent interpersonal skills to communicate in a warm, caring, respectful and non-judgmental manner; skilled collaborator to work as part of a team with students, colleagues, and other professionals/administrators. Experience working in a University Counseling Center; experience initiating and developing outreach programs; demonstrated commitment and competency in working with a varied student population.
