This position supports the mission of Counseling & Psychological Service (CAPS) and Campus Health & Wellbeing through the provision of individual and couples/partner counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation as a member of the CAPS team within Campus Health & Wellbeing. It also includes work with serious presenting concerns, requiring the ability to conceptualize cases and provide diagnoses within sociocultural context.

This position is part time (up to 18 hours/week) and remote. Primary work hours will be during 4-9 pm weekdays and between 8 am and 9 pm on weekends. Specific hours will be assigned in coordination with operational needs and availability.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. Provide brief individual and couple/partner psychotherapy to students on personal, psychological, educational, and/or developmental issues in accordance with EO1053;
2. Assist the client in identifying presenting problem(s), establishing treatment goals, and working toward emotional health and wellbeing;
3. Provide crisis response, screening and intervention;
4. Determine if referrals are needed and assist client in referral process;
5. Consult with appropriate personnel as needed; and
6. Maintain ethical and timely documentation of all clinical work in electronic record keeping system.

Possession of a Master’s degree in appropriate field and current licensure or eligible for licensure to practice in the State of California as LPCC, LCSW or LMFT with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post degree (in any state or province).

OR

Possession of a doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology and current licensure or eligible for licensure (i.e., successfully completed all supervised professional experience) as a psychologist in the State of California.

COMPENSATION

Anticipated Hiring Range: $93,528 annual 12 month salary prorated by hours contracted.
