POSITION DESCRIPTION
The University Health Center at the University of Georgia is pleased to offer a full-time position for Assistant Director of Training. The
Assistant Director of Training is an essential member of the CAPS/Fontaine
Center leadership team. Reporting to the Sr. Associate Director of Clinical
Services and Training, this leadership position’s primary focus will be on the continued
development and implementation of a strategic vision for, and oversight of, all
the aspects of the various training programs offered at CAPS, including our
American Psychological Association (APA) accredited doctoral internship
program, and our Advanced Doctoral practicum and Social Work practicum
programs.
In
addition, this position will be responsible for delivering direct services to
students while also overseeing and coordinating the supervision of trainees at
all stages of their training. In collaboration with other members of the
CAPS/Fontaine Leadership team, this position ensures compliance with Joint
Commission Standards; engages in multidisciplinary consultation teams;
creatively develops cutting-edge training opportunities; and assists in
monitoring client assignment and referral.
